Workshops & Events

I love designing and delivering creative and thought-provoking workshops that introduce (or re-familiarise) audiences to critical concepts, practical solutions, and creative methodologies that will stay with them long after the session. Throughout the years, I have facilitated workshops  for a range of audiences, including adult learners, 16-18 year olds, university students, university faculty and the general public on the following topics:

  • Black Arts and Cultures

  • Black Studies

  • Digital Activism

  • Feminist Theories

  • Internet Cultures

  • Pedagogies and Intersectionality in the Classroom (HE & FE)

  • Pleasure Activism

  • Pop-culture and contemporary theory

  • Higher Education and Inequalities

I have collaborated with universities, cultural institutions, research networks, schools, and colleges, to deliver these sessions. These have included, Nottingham Contemporary, New Art Exchange, Journey to Justice, community Sixth Form Colleges, and university's such as King's College London, University of Sheffield. You can find more information on some of these sessions by visiting my Papers, Keynotes, and Talks page.
